The Dutch are not as racist as you might think and I don`t expect the all the French see you as a Frenchman even if you`re born there, right ?

Yes, you're right my friend, most french people see us as different as the native, but the fact is that in most cases, french people are of "allochton" ascendance. So their opinion eventually does not weight coz French system is - unlike the dutch multiculturalism - "jacobin", meaning that the Republic does not recognize any ethnical elements inside the nation.

That's precisely where's the difference: in the official state point of view.

But, I can tell you frankly: if you consider the folk's view, there are no such difference between a boer and a french.
They share some common stuffs: from cheese, beer, wines, royal Bourbon family, banking history...to colonial empires etc
