Morocco dismantles terrorist network north
Rabat, May 19 - Moroccan security services have recently dismantled an 11-member terrorist network in the cities of Fez (north) and Nador (northeast), police sources said on Monday.

    The network, including a Moroccan living in Belgium, is believed to have links with groups sending volunteers to Irak and to camps of Al-Qaeda's branch in North Africa (AQIM).

    According to the same source, the cell was planning to carry out terror acts in Morocco and Belgium.

    The group will be brought before justice to answer for their acts.

    The dismantlement comes three months after security services broke up another 35-member terrorist network, led by Abdelkader Belliraj, a Moroccan living in Belgium.

   The Belliraj network was preparing to carry out acts of violence in the country and had ramifications and links with organizations operating in Morocco and abroad, according to the police.
