Professor Dan Hallin (University of California San Diego) will be a special guest of ASCoR from Wednesday, June 27, to Sunday, July 1. The inducement for his visit is the 10th anniversary of ASCoR. He was invited by the "Media, Journalism & Public Opinion" program group.

Professor Hallin is world-famous for his work on news media and their role in democratic politics - also in internationally comparative studies. He has also written well-known contributions on media and war and media and elections.
