If one doubles you nickname, you become wah-wah, that cool stuff (pedal) to make a stratocaster yelling like waaaaaowwwwaaaaaaaww hehehe. :)

Yes, indeed, you got it right somehow for the neighbouring as I also feel Boubacar Traore's tunes as a sort of subsaharian blues. Boubacar's from Mali, and sings in french as he had experienced the life of an immigrant here (foyer sonacotra) and in bambara, his mother tongue.

If you like the arid blues, just check within Tarekaft's friends: Tapsit (label), Tartit, etc ...

I think that's definetely the natural direction for amazigh music to emancipate and get outta the folklorical strains.
